Operation:

• Position the ram, with its side pressure screw (b) fully backed off, between the shaft and the screw (a) and secure by tightening the latter. Initiate hydraulic action by tightening the side pressure screw (b). If the part fails to come off with the first stroke of the arm, continue to work the puller screw (a) or proceed as follows: back off the side pressure screw (b) - retighten the puller screw (a) and the side pressure screw (b).
• After use, back of screw (b) to make the built-in restoring spring return the thrust bolt its initial position.
