- flood alarm is used to detect water leakage caused by pipes or machines (i.e. washing machine) and promptly inform users to avoid further expansion of water hazards
- if a flood alarm detects a water leakage, it will alarm with high decibels
The alarms can be used in the following ways:
- standalone alarm: the devices do not need the smart gateway, but act like a basic alarm
- interconnected alarms: all installed alarms will alert you when one alarm detects danger
- interconnection can also be done without the smart gateway
- as part of the BASE smart home system: get access to alarms on your phone thanks to the smart gateway and mobile application
- the app lets you know immediately if smoke or carbon monoxide levels are rising or water damage occurs
- this will allow you to react quickly to prevent property damage
