PHOSPHORIC ACID 85% 5L UNDILUTED

• effectively removes rust from iron and steel objects without damaging the metal
• after the treatment, the surface is ready for further treatment
• product can be reused after filtration

Use undiluted:

• spread over the surface being cleaned, e.g., with a brush and let it work until the rust has been removed
• contact time can range from a few minutes to a few hours depending on the rust build-up on the object
• not necessary to rinse
• dry the cleaned surface very carefully, lightly abrade, and apply oil, non-water-based paint, or other protective treatment

Use diluted:

• at first pour water (9 parts) and then phosphoric acid (1 part) into a dish
• submerge the object being cleaned in the mixture and let it sit until the rust has been removed
• not necessary to rinse
• dry the cleaned surface very carefully, e.g., with a hot-air blower to evaporate all the water, lightly abrade, and apply oil, non-water-based paint, or other protective treatment

• unsuitable for aluminum, copper, brass, gold or silver
